Vanilla coffeeOur vanilla-flavoured coffee is a high-quality robusta which, unlike robusta from elsewhere in the world, is mild and non-bitter and with a slightly nutty aftertaste and with a clear note of natural vanilla.
Our country's coffee flavour profile can be attributed to the crop's unspoilt terroir in polyculture areas among other crops such as cacao, pepper, vanilla and various fruit trees (mango, lychee, banana etc.).
In Madagascar, coffee is traditionally roasted on simple outdoor stoves and manually ground before being filtered and served, usually black. In line with this tradition, shortly before export, our coffee beans are roasted as a single-blend, ground and mixed with pure vanilla powder.
